An interesting functional prototype Mac mini dock has been developed for use in an in-car installation. This prototype allows the user to slide the Mac mini CPU into the dock (much like a removable car stereo) and all the necessary connections are automatically engaged in the back. A small strap can be pulled to disengage the connections and release the unit from the dock.
While the prototype is a bit rough, the concept behind it is strong and is quite interesting. It could be a useful option for in-dash Mac mini installs.
