Mac’d Ride: 2002 Chevy Silverado

Garrett Wilchek of California says, “Who needs an iPod when you can install a Mac!” Well, he did just that and Mac’d his own Chevy Silverado.

This sweet ride is not only clean, but user-friendly! Garrett likes that he can start up his truck remotely and everything is running when he gets in. His multimedia library features about 30 movies and over 30 gigs of music all at his fingertips – he is a big fan of his touch screen, wireless keyboard and mouse. Although he uses Route 66, it is not in real-time, so he is still on the hunt for a GPS solution. The centerpiece of this install is Garrett’s impressive custom-built center console that includes a built-in keyboard and trackpad.
