Classic Restorations MacNova

The first of Classic Restorations Mac mini installs has begun. The first car to get “Mac’d out” is a 1969 MacNova SS. The CPU has been installed in the cars glove box area and is controlled via a 7″ touch screen and Griffin PowerMate controller. Four additional USB ports have been installed in the cars ash tray area for easy connection of USB devices. There is a short video of the system running off of the cars battery – very cool stuff!

Personally, I think the PowerMate is an ideal solution for easy access to commonly used functions. I have been using one on my desktop for a while now and find it invaluable. Now it would be great if they had a wireless Bluetooth version that you could mount without the wire.
